Vacationland

With Kitty and the kids here, I have one foot in my regular life and one foot in vacationland.

Case in point:

Things I Should Have Done Today

Cleaned my bedroom and bathroom

Put away (or made the kids put away) the laundry

Baked cookies for the new neighbors

Started my talk for church on Sunday

and here’s what I actually did today:

Swam at the pool for 2 hours with all the kids

Read my book

Took the kids to a Jumpy House

Went to Chili’s with Kitty for dessert (by ourselves!)

I much prefer vacationland- who wouldn’t??- but I really need to mentally prepare myself for when I have to get back to real life next week. It’ll come soon enough.
