Gulfport, Mississippi

This afternoon we decided that since the weather was perfect and no one had any afternoon church meetings to attend, that it would be a great day to drive over to the beach in Gulfport, Mississippi. The kids were so excited (they’ve been begging us to take them to the beach all winter) and kept asking if they could wear their swimsuits. They were disappointed when I told them that the water would be too cold, but they were still super excited to play on the beach.

We got down to Gulfport and the kids had a great time. I’ll be honest, it was too chilly for me, but they didn’t seem to mind at all. Ernie took some fantastic pictures :)

My favorite quote of the day was from Emmaline: "I love the Palm-palm trees, mom!"

Max, bless his little heart, continued to ask, "Daddy, what's that noise?" at every bump, car sound, road noise, ambulance, and even the sound of the seagulls.

When we got home we had "Cannibal's soup", according to Little Ernie referring to "Campbell's soup"
